Rugged phone update

This is just a short update and a follow up to Rugged Phone for Kids. A year on, and the phones have served their purpose. They've been used to take countless photos. They've been dropped countless times. They've been washed under the tap. My daughter's phone has even been left outdoors in the grass for two nights before it was found. It rained those two nights.

But yesterday we had our first casualty. While out on a 4x4 adventure (upcoming post) she tripped over on uneven ground. She was holding the phone, so as with anyone's normal instincts, the thing in her hand suddenly became the thing that broke her fall. Screen down.

So now we have a broken rugged phone. It still works, it still turns on, but clearly the screen protector is the only thing holding the glass together now.
